An onion address is not a website URL
People search for the "Mars URL," but there is no ordinary web address for a darknet market. The string you need is a Tor v3 onion — a 56-character public key that only has meaning inside the Tor network. Understanding that one fact prevents most phishing mistakes: if a page offering "Mars" opens in a normal browser on a .com or .shop domain, it is not the market.

When it will not connect
Troubleshooting a stalled connection
A hidden service that will not open is usually a network problem between you and the descriptor, not proof the address is wrong. Work through these before assuming the worst.
Try a failover
If the primary front onion keeps stalling it may be under introduction-point load. A listed failover reaches the same market by a different front.
Check your clock
Tor is sensitive to a badly wrong system clock. If circuits never build on any site, correct the time and date and restart the browser.

Can I open the address in Chrome or Firefox?
No. Onion addresses do not resolve in ordinary browsers because they never touch public DNS. You need Tor Browser, or another Tor-aware client, for the address to mean anything at all.
Is it safe to bookmark the address?
Bookmarking is fine, but re-verify against the signed canon before each session rather than trusting an old bookmark blindly. Onion addresses rotate, and a bookmark saved months ago can point at an address the market has since retired.
Do I need coins loaded before I can connect?
No. Reaching and browsing the market requires nothing but Tor. Funds only come into play on the market itself, during an order, and never on this guide.
